WELCOME TO DEBS

One of the oldest foreign-managed companies in Japan specializing in textiles,
real estate, and the trading of commodities.

OVERVIEW

At the turn of the century, a group of men sat down to discuss the future of their textiles business.
They had heard rumors of nice cottons and silks that were coming from the Far East, yet no-one knew who had access to such material.

So they decided to find out for themselves.
They traveled into the unknown, constantly adapting to new environments, and finally arrived to Japan in 1917.
They set up a textiles trading business connecting Japan, the United Kingdom, Nigeria, and Lebanon and settled into these countries.

These are the founders of the Debs Group and this is the story of their success.
This is why we are now in Japan,
the place where the Debs family first planted their seeds that have now expanded into a vast global business.

The Debs Group has since evolved to become one of the most active textile groups in the world,
with businesses ranging from real estate to commodity trading.

Over the last 100 years, we continue to maintain the tradition of adapting to the times, searching for the next opportunity,
thinking out of the box and Sharing The Passion with all of our customers and suppliers.
