Privacy Policy

Debs Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of personal information of users in the services (hereinafter referred to as "the Services") provided on this website.
Users are required to review this Privacy Policy and agree to its contents before using the Services or browsing this site.

 

Article 1 (Personal Information)
"Personal information" refers to information about a living individual that can identify a specific person, including but not limited to the individual's name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, and other descriptions that can identify the individual, as well as data related to their appearance.

 

Article 2 (Collection Method of Personal Information)
The Company may ask users to provide personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, etc. when they register for the use of the Services. In addition, the Company may collect transaction records and payment information, including personal information of users, from its business partners and other sources (including information providers, advertisers, and ad delivery destinations, hereinafter referred to as "Business Partners").

However, if certain requested information is not provided, the Company may not be able to provide normal services. Article 4 (Changes to the Purpose of Use)

Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties) cont'd:
The Company shall not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the user, except in the following cases, unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations:

When it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and obtaining the consent of the individual is difficult.
When it is necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of sound nurturing of children, and obtaining the consent of the individual is difficult.
When it is necessary to cooperate with a national institution, local public entity, or a person entrusted by such entities in performing legally prescribed affairs, and obtaining the consent of the individual may hinder the performance of such affairs.

Notwithstanding the provisions above, the following cases shall not be considered as providing personal information to third parties:

When the Company entrusts the handling of personal information in whole or in part within the scope necessary for achieving the purpose of use.
When personal information is provided due to a merger or other reasons accompanying the succession of business.
When personal information is jointly used with a specific individual, and the purpose of use, items of personal information to be used jointly, the range of individuals to be jointly used, the purpose of use by the joint user, and the name or organization responsible for the management of the personal information have been notified to the individual in advance or placed in a state where the individual can easily know about it.

 

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
When the Company is requested by the individual to disclose their personal information, the Company shall promptly disclose it to the individual. However, if disclosing it falls under any of the following cases, the Company may not disclose all or part of the information and shall notify the individual promptly. Furthermore, a fee of 1,000 yen per request will be charged for the disclosure of personal information. The cases where disclosure may not be made include:

Cases where there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party.
Cases where there is a risk of significantly hindering the proper implementation of the Company's business.
Cases that would violate other laws and regulations.
Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Company will generally not disclose information other than personal information, such as browsing history and characteristic information.

 

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)
If a user's personal information held by the Company is found to be incorrect, the user may request the correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as "correction, etc.") of the personal information to the Company through the prescribed procedure.

If the Company determines that it is necessary to respond to a request under the preceding paragraph from a user, the Company shall promptly carry out the correction, etc., of the personal information.

When the Company has made corrections, etc., based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph or has made a decision not to make corrections, etc., the Company shall promptly notify the user of such actions.

 

Article 8 (Suspension of Use, etc. of Personal Information)
The company will promptly conduct necessary investigations when requested by the individual due to reasons such as the handling of personal information beyond the scope of the intended purpose or acquisition through illegal means, in order to suspend or delete the use of personal information (referred to as "suspension of use, etc." below). Based on the investigation results from the preceding paragraph, if it is determined that it is necessary to respond to the request, the company will promptly proceed with the suspension of use, etc. of the relevant personal information. When the company has conducted the suspension of use, etc. based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or has decided not to conduct the suspension of use, etc., the company will promptly notify the user of such a decision. Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if it incurs substantial costs or if it is otherwise difficult to suspend the use, etc., but alternative measures that are necessary to protect the user's rights and interests can be taken, the company may implement such alternative measures.

 

Article 9 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)
The contents of this policy, except for matters stipulated separately in laws and regulations and other provisions of this policy, may be changed by the company without prior notification to the user. Unless otherwise specified by the company, the revised privacy policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
